Synercard signs up 11 distributors for Asure IDTM solution

Expanded coverage in US, European, Canadian markets for photo id technology

American Society for Industrial Security Conference - Las Vegas, Nevada - September 28, 1999 -- Synercard Corporation of Hull, Quebec today announced the signing of 11 distributors to market its Internet-based Asure IDTM software to corporations and government departments requiring advanced photo identity technologies.

Nine distributors have signed on as Synercard Secure Authorized Partners while Alpha Card Systems of Corta Madera, California and E-Card ID Products of Delta, British Columbia have been selected as Gold Partners.

Synercard's Partners will, primarily, sell Asure IDTM and Asure ID ServerTM, the company's innovative Internet-based database solution which combines smart card technology, biometrics, digital imaging, Internet and intranet networking and Cryptography technologies. Asure ID provides organizations with the ability to capture and securely register cardholder information from remote locations, giving users the option of printing cards locally or at a central company site or a Synercard Authorized Card Bureau.

The company's Partners will sell directly to companies and governments and they are also designated as Synercard Authorized Card Bureaus, using Asure ID and Asure ID Server's Internet capabilities to produce photo id cards directly for their customers.
