Synercard President Wins Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award From The Business Development Bank Of Canada And The Outaouais Chamber Of Commerce

Award Recognizes Business Acumen, Innovation And Social Responsibility

Hull, Quebec, Canada - November 23, 1999 - At a ceremony hosted by the Outaouais Chamber Of Commerce, on October 28, Bruce Bianco, President of Synercard Corporation of Hull, Quebec was awarded a 1999 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Business Development Bank of Canada.

Every year since 1988, BDC has honoured outstanding young entrepreneurs from all across Canada. The Young Entrepreneurs Awards mark the accomplishments of business people aged 30 and under from every province and territory.

Winners are chosen according to selection criteria based on company growth, involvement in the new economy, innovation, community work and export performance. The panel of judges is chaired by BDC and made up of business professionals and members of local boards of trade and chambers of commerce.

"Entrepreneurs of any age face challenges that can only, really be understood by other entrepreneurs and experienced business people. To be recognized by such a respected organization as BDC and my peers is truly rewarding, not only for me but for all the people who have played a role in Synercard's growth" says Bruce Bianco.
