Synercard Opens Up New International Product Channels And Significantly Adds To Its Revenue Streams In Major OEM Contract With D&K Laminex, Inc.

Ottawa, Ontario - August 22, 2000 -- Synercard Corporation, a software company specializing in developing software products for the photo identity and smart card markets, has signed a major product agreement with a leading supplier and manufacturer of identification products, Laminex (D&K Laminex, Inc.) of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Under the terms of the agreement, Synercard's innovative and critically acclaimed photo identity card software product Asure IDœ will form the nucleus of a complete new suite of photo identity software products that will be sold under the D&K Laminex name. Over the next three years, the contract will be worth several million dollars to both Synercard and Laminex.

The new products IDVisionœ, IDVision Plusœ, ID-IN-A FLASHœ and ID Serverœ will be promoted, starting this Fall, through the Laminex web site (www.laminex.com) and through an extensive partner network that serves customers throughout the United States and internationally.
