Synercard Gains Access To International Distribution Channels, Expands Service To Resellers And Will Develop New Applications In Major Strategic Partnership Agreement With SuperCom Smart Cards

Hull, Quebec, Canada - April 17, 2001 -- Synercard Corporation, the software product company that developed the critically acclaimed Asure ID Family Of Products™, has signed an international, Strategic Partner Agreement with SuperCom Smart Cards, Inc., of Northvale, New Jersey.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, SuperCom will incorporate Synercard's innovative Asure ID™ technology into the SPPL 1000-A, 1000-B and CIDS 6005, SuperCom’s line of high-end automated contact-less smart card production equipment and printers. SuperCom will also provide card production issuance services to Synercard's international reseller network through its automated smart card production facilities in the United States, China, Israel and Belgium. Additionally, Synercard and SuperCom will work in concert to develop new applications that address the growing demands for expanded smart card capabilities in specific vertical markets.
