Synercard Announces Latest Versions Of Digital Identity And Photo Card Management Software With Integrated Camera And Smart Card Support.

Gatineau, Quebec – February 13, 2003 -- Synercard Corporation, the software product company behind the critically acclaimed Asure ID™ Family of Products, has announced the Version 4.2 editions of its existing digital identity and card management software products as well as the much anticipated new product, Asure ID Imago. All the new products will be available later this month.

Until now, being able to easily format and read information to and from contact and contacless smart cards has been a time consuming and often complicated proposition. Among the features that the new Asure ID software boasts, users will be able to benefit from the many advantages that smart cards offer to digital identity and photo card management applications with the new “SCRW” (Smart Card Read Write) tools. As an example, Asure ID’s smart card file structure tools provide users with the ability to encode a person’s photograph and other important data into specific sections of the smart chip. In addtion, the software allows users to read and store the ID number on a chip back to a specific card record holder in the Asure ID database. These powerful capabilities were created while maintaining the simplicity and ease of use that Asure ID users have come to expect.

In addition to the new smart card features, Asure ID version 4.2 provides users with enhanced import and export integration tools, communication performance and a fully integrated computer controlled digital camera, the Asure ID Imago.
