Upgrading from one Asure ID product to another is easy. Whether you’re upgrading from a trial package or because your needs have changed, with HID Identity's innovative licensing system, you can be working with your new software the same day you decide to upgrade.

Please follow the simple steps below to upgrade with ease.

1. Contact your Asure ID Secure Partner to purchase your new Serial Number;

2. Click on the ‘Help’ menu in either the Admin Center, Card Design Center or Data Entry Center modules and select ‘About’;

3.Click the ‘Upgrade’ button on the About box, enter your new serial number and press ‘OK’;

4. Close all open modules of the Asure ID software; and,

5. Launch Asure ID and register your new product.

That’s it! All template designs and card record data will be available in the newly upgraded product.

Registering Asure ID

When registering Asure ID you may choose from two types of registration - 'Online Registration' and 'Offline Registration'. Online Registration is the easiest method, and if you have a connection to the Internet, it is strongly recommended that you choose this option.

Online Registration

Selecting 'Online Registration' will take you to a customer details page. Enter the required information, and then press the 'Register Now' button. In a few seconds you will see a message stating that the registration has been successfully completed. Your software is now fully set up and ready to use.

Offline Registration

If you have chosen 'Offline Registration', you will see a dialog box asking you to call either (877) ASURE ID (within North America) or (819) 777-6687 (outside North America), as well as an area to enter an Installation ID (IID) number (supplied by HID Identity's customer registration team when you phone). Please call us between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm EST, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
